When you log in to our website, you'll notice that we only offer a few types of solid soap. But why?
Making natural soap is one thing. Selling it legally in Switzerland is another.
Since Switzerland aligned itself with European regulations, every soap placed on the market must undergo a series of rigorous controls and certifications:
- stability tests
- analysis of formulas,
- and above all toxicological evaluation by a certified expert.
And these assessments are not free: you have to count between 1,000 and 6,000 CHF per product, depending on its complexity (source: RTS, 2022).
For a small brand like ours, these costs limit the possibility of having a wide range, but thanks to the cold saponification courses we took (cosmetiquesnaturels.ch), we had the opportunity to access validated and toxicologically tested recipes. We have since endeavored to follow this recipe with quality natural ingredients that are good for the skin.
So we wanted to offer a little more by offering custom-made soaps for your events. We want to expand our range little by little, on our scale, by listening to you and offering you products that you like.
In short, we don't (yet) offer a wide variety of soaps, but each one is the result of sincere craftsmanship, compliant with Swiss standards and designed for your well-being and that of nature. Because ultimately, what matters is not the quantity but the care we put into it.
